Welcome to the second issue of Geotechnical Research, the new Gold Open Access journal published by the Institution of Civil Engineers.
As the first fully Open Access journal in its discipline, Geotechnical Research guarantees fast-track online publication, and immediate worldwide dissemination, of recent research and industrial developments in the field of geotechnical engineering.

Geotechnical Research is a new digital only journal that publishes papers on all aspects of modern geotechnics, including: soil, rock and fluid mechanics; geoenvironmental engineering; geotechnical design and construction issues; physical modelling;  micromechanics; engineering geology; and geochemistry.The journal aims to disseminate knowledge through the Gold Open Access model to geotechnical engineers working in research and practice worldwide.Geotechnical Research joins an august group of eight ICE Publishing geotechnical journals headed by Géotechnique, the world’s premier journal publishing the highest quality research on all aspects of geotechnical engineering since 1948. |
