In 2014, the DFI Educational Trust will award five $2,000 At-Large Scholarships. Winners can use the award for tuition, fees, books and/or educational living expenses. Applicants must be enrolled full time in a U.S. college or university; pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in an accredited civil, geotechnical engineering or related deep foundations curriculum; and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Dr. Kyle Rollins, Osterberg Memorial Lecturer
The 2014 Osterberg Lecture is being presented by Dr. Kyle Rollins, geotechnical professor at Brigham Young University, on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, during the DFI/ADSC Drilled Shaft Design & Construction Seminar at the Grandover Resort and Conference Center, Greensboro, NC, on April 29-30. The lecture is from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm, before the networking reception.
Part of the proceeds from the seminar benefit the DFI Educational Trust.
The DFI Educational Trust Awards Reception and Banquet will be held at the 39th Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA, October 23, 2014. DFI’s 2014 Distinguished Service Award, Outstanding Project Award and the C. William Bermingham Innovation Award will be presented during the banquet. Please RSVP when you register for the conference, as seating is limited. All conference attendees are invited to attend as part of their registration fee. Additional tickets may be purchased when you register for the conference or as a separate purchase. DFI will donate a portion of the event proceeds to the DFI Educational Trust.
