The 2018 International Conference on
Geomechanics and Engineering (GAE)
Dear Colleagues:
We are very happy to announce the “2018 International Conference on Geomechanics
and Engineering (ICGE18)” to be held as a participating conference of ACEM18 (2018
World Congress on Civil, Environmental, and Materials Research) / Structures18
on August 28 – August 31, 2018, in Incheon, Korea. The congress venue is Songdo Convensia
in Incheon, Korea. Opened in 2008, It is a world class convention center located in the
newly-developed Songdo International City of Incheon. It is also Asia’s First LEED-certified
‘Green’ Convention Center, an environment-friendly building that minimizes the elements that
harms the environment and maximizes the energy efficiency with improved design,
construction and operation routines.
 
Being one of the twelve participating conferences of ACEM18/Structures18, ICGE18
will provide an excellent opportunity to look into the up-to-the-date developments in the
allied fields which may give participants inspiration and motivation for developing their
own future research topics.

authors. To organize a mini symposium or an organized session, please complete
the “MS proposal form” and submit to us via email. Detail guidelines and benefits

Since the ICGE18 Conference will be held in close association with Techno-Press
journals, in particular with the “Geomechanics and Engineerings,
An International Journal” (SCI(E) Indexed), you may submit the journal
version paper for possible publication in regular or special issue of the journal
as well (2 special issues have been published from the former ICGE16). |
Some selected papers will be considered for publication in the “Conference
Special Issue” of GAE journal. Chairmen of ICGE18 will serve as the guest
editor of this issue. |
