Dr. Kim, the founding president and CEO of ESCO since 1996, is a senior member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK) and was also the past president of Korean Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (KTA). With more than thirty five years of engineering experience up to year of 2013. Dr. Kim’s main expertise includes underground space development (subways, tunnels, carverns etc.) and soft ground improvement. His outstanding performance was recognized by the Korean Government with “Industrial Service Medal” and “Silver Tower” the Order of Industrial Service Merit.
