Call for Submissions

The Program Committee seeks dynamic, relevant sessions and abstracts addressing both geotechnical and structural engineering issues.  Final papers are optional and will not be peer reviewed.

All sessions proposals and abstract submissions are due April 7, 2015

SUBMIT SESSION PROPOSALS / ABSTRACTS

Submit a session proposal/abstract?
We encourage submissions from practitioners, educators, researchers, geotechnical engineers, geoprofessionals, structural engineers, bridge and building designers, firm owners, codes and standards developers, and others.

What types of submission can you make?

You may submit either an Individual Abstract or a Full Session proposal.
New Individual Abstract describes an individual presentation. These are reviewed and grouped with other individual abstracts to create 90 minute sessions. You will need to choose a topic and subtopic to help categorize your abstract.

New Full Session Proposal describes a 90 minute program. Sessions may be Traditional Sessions or Panel Sessions.

New Interactive Poster session – we will hold some interactive poster sessions during the Congress. Presenters approved for this will be allowed to submit one power point slide and speak to an audience for 3-5 minutes. When all the presenters are done they will move to another side of the room and stand next to the poster they have prepared and brought to the Congress to display.  If you are interested in making a submission follow the step for submit a new individual abstract and in the abstract document tell the review committee you would like to be in the new interactive Poster session. On the abstract details page, under presentation preference, select interactive poster. You also have the option to submit a final paper for publication in the Congress proceedings. Remember papers will not be peer reviewed.
